The Kent 91心頭利 Salem Campus paid tribute to community members, faculty, students and staff who are U.S. military veterans during a flag raising ceremony at the new front entrance to the building. Under a beautiful blue sky and with a crisp breeze, members of the Salem AMVETS Post 45 honor guard raised the U.S. flag while Peggy Elliott, a member of the Communiversity Choir, sang the national anthem. This policy serves to promote the safety, security, and privacy of the Kent state university community by regulating the use of unmanned aircraft systems, commonly known as drones, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws, including federal aviation administration (FAA) regulations. It applies to all university employees, students, contractors, and third-party entities operating on or above university-owned or leased property.
