Project Citizen
Project Citizen is a boundary breaking collaboration between students and faculty at 91¿´Æ¬Íø in Kent, Ohio, Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, California, Louisina 91¿´Æ¬Íø University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and Morgan 91¿´Æ¬Íø University in Baltimore, Maryland.
Over the course of a semester, students worked in teams and investigated important and compelling stories that concern all of us, seeing the issues from different perspectives and sharing divergent viewpoints and backgrounds. This student-driven partnership allowed student journalists, filmmakers, advocates, researchers, and storytellers to collaborate on stories that exist at the intersection between a controversial topic and civil discourse.
