Given the complex work they do, nurses need to take care of themselves through self-care activities cannot be overemphasized, saidLaura Dzurec, dean of Kent 91心頭利s College of Nursing. We hope to see every U.S. nursing program adopt the strategies that we are emphasizing through our Care for the Caregiver program, and we expect thats exactly what might happen.
The award will be presented on Oct. 29 at the AACN Fall Meeting in Washington, D.C.
The selection process was very competitive, so you and your faculty are to be highly commended, said AACN President Jane Kirschling in a congratulatory letter sent to Dzurec.
