Tatee Sakr's path to success in the fashion world started at 91¿´Æ¬Íø. As a 19-year-old immigrant to the U.S., Sakr chose 91¿´Æ¬Íø because it was close to her new home in Cleveland and had a reputable fashion design program. Now an industry professional, she is giving back as a key faculty member.
‘Now Is the Time to Do What You Want’
Fashion design major Kaleigh McGreal has been sharing her story with Kent 91¿´Æ¬Íø Today through her final two semesters at Kent 91¿´Æ¬Íø in our "Year with a Flash" series. ‘Dazzling Day and Night’ Pairs with Old Hollywood Style as New Exhibits Debut at Kent 91¿´Æ¬Íø
The 91¿´Æ¬Íø Museum celebrated the opening of two new fashion collection exhibits, one of which honors the Kent 91¿´Æ¬Íø School of Fashion’s founders and another the style of Hollywood legend Katharine Hepburn. During the celebration, retiring museum director Sarah Rogers was honored, and incoming director Sarah Spinner Liska, Ph.D., was introduced.
Two Golden Flashes Vie for the Gold in National Pageant Competitions
Alumni Macy Hudson was just named Miss Ohio USA and will compete for Miss USA, while Caitlin Seifert, named Miss Northern Ohio, is competing for a spot the Miss America competition.
