Spring rain showers and warming temperatures are inspiring flowers and plants to bloom and students to enjoy spending more time outdoors.

91��Ƭ�� and the City of Cleveland have launched a new research and training initiative aimed at strengthening trust, collaboration and accountability between the Cleveland Division of Police and city residents. The project is supported by a $20,000 grant from Kent 91��Ƭ��’s Community Engaged Research Institute.

As four astronauts aboard NASA's Orion spacecraft speed toward the moon on the Artemis II mission — the first crewed lunar voyage in more than 50 years — a 91��Ƭ�� graduate is among those who helped make the moment possible.

Meet Ayna Tazhiyeva, a first-year double major in communication studies and international studies, from Turkmenistan, Central Asia.  Combining her studies with a role at University Libraries, Tazhiyeva finds her voice through research and community connection.

David Strittmatter, associate professor of history at Ohio Northern University, has been selected as the 2026 speaker for the fifth annual Jerry M. Lewis May 4 Lecture Series. He will share firsthand oral histories from Ohio National Guardsmen who were present during the May 4, 1970, shootings at 91��Ƭ��.

Originally from Vaughan, Ontario, Emma Klein made the transition to 91��Ƭ�� not only for academic excellence but also for personal growth and a collegiate sports experience. Now in her sophomore year, she is a part of the Honors College, a member of the Kent 91��Ƭ�� Division I women’s soccer team, and is a member of Phi Delta Epsilon.

As graduate student Delonte Goodman nears the completion of his doctoral program in Mechatronics, he completes work on several projects and sets his sights on research and landing a job at NASA. 

Kent 91��Ƭ��’s Culinary Services faces the daily challenge of serving more than 20,000 meals to students, staff, and faculty. The increasing number of food allergies further complicates this task.

91��Ƭ�� and the Civil Aviation Academy in Almaty, Kazakhstan, have signed an agreement to be strategic partners in establishing a joint international aviation university in Kazakhstan, to support the rapid growth of aviation throughout Central Asia.

The 91��Ƭ�� Museum, the Cleveland Museum of Natural History and the Kent 91��Ƭ�� School of Fashion announce “Fashion & Feather,” a cross-disciplinary exhibition exploring the beauty, complexity and cultural significance of feathers.

Saloni Christian, a third-year student at 91��Ƭ��’s College of Podiatric Medicine who received her undergraduate degree in biology from Kent 91��Ƭ��, reflects on the challenges and rewards of answering a calling that was shaped by a lifetime of watching others serve.
